The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas was recently ranked in the top 100 QS World University Rankins by subject area, and among the publication's top 25 in the country for Life Sciences and Medicine. We speak with the school's dean about why the school received the recognition.

The Arkansas Secretary of State released a draft of rules for implementing the state's new voter ID law. The Arkansas General Assembly this past session, enacted several new controversial gun rights laws in Arkansas, most notably “Professor Carry” and “Church Carry.” But some say, another new and rather discreet state law, to go into effect August 16th, aims to decriminalize the open carry of handguns in Arkansas.
