On this edition of Ozarks we mark the third anniversary of our daily program. To celebrate the occasion we follow the tradition we established with our previous two anniversary shows…by devoting most of the program to stories related to the traditional anniversary gift for the appropriate anniversary. So today we have stories connected to leather…a saddle-maker in Prairie Grove, a cobbler in Fayetteville and more.

Ahead on this edition of Ozarks, stories of Elizabeth Richardson, the namesake of the now 50-year-old disabilities service organization. Plus, Veterans' Day has been celebrating the heroism of those that serve America since President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11 the holiday in 1919. And, A Celebration of the Mind, an event this Saturday honors a man who brought mathematics to many through his column Mathematical Games.
Almost every Tuesday evening several dozen people from across the region gather together to sing. This week and next , they’ll perform three public concerts.

The number of patient visits to the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center has increased from two thousand in 2000 to more than eleven thousand in 2011. Now the center is moving to a new, larger space.

Patients at the Booneville Human Development Center have an important job to do. They make rugs as part of the center's Rugs Project, which brought in more than $8,000 through craft fair sales just last month.
A new program is being introduced at Bentonville Public Schools. The program puts bicycles in each of the district's elementary, middle and junior high schools.
