New standardized public education testing will be tried in Arkansas public schools under the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, one million students across 18 states, including Arkansas, will participate in the “Next Generation Assessment” field tests.
Michael Tilley from The City Wire says the 188th Fighter Wing has recieved approval to spend to $12.5 million to build a facility that could help the unit become an ISR Center of Excellence.The university system's board voted yesterday to start offering online courses. Healing Touch, an international healing program, is a biofield therapy, meaning it deals with the magnetic field around the body, to promote various areas of healing. The Healing Touch ministry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville is more than a decade old, and now has its own location, ten practitioners and provides more than 600 treatments annually.
