Last Thursday, a preliminary hearing was held before Pulaski County Circuit Judge Chris Piazza on a lawsuit filed last summer to strike down an Arkansas constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, approved by seventy-four percent of voters ten years ago. Jura Margulis is an internationally recognized concert pianist and professor at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Seventeen-year old Rex Lewis-Clack is an internationally-known teenage piano prodigy, who is blind, illiterate--and severely autistic. He lives in Los Angeles. But on occasion they work together.
