In early May, Arkansas’s ban on same-sex marriage was struck down as unconstitutional by a state court. Hundreds of couples obtained wedding licenses before a stay was ordered by the Arkansas Supreme Court. Now a second lawsuit, filed in federal court, will soon be considered.
