Grammy Nominated Indigenous musician John Two Hawks is hosting “Honoring Our Native Ways'” taking place Saturday April 16th at the Marriot Hotel in Tulsa. Appearing with him will be Yankton Sioux artist Joseph Chamberlain, designated the 2011 Pendleton Legendary Blanket artist. Ahead on this edition of Ozarks…the 2013 Northwest Arkansas Education Report Card has numbers, plenty of numbers, relating to 17 public school districts in Washington and Benton Counties. We'll talk to Gary Ritter, the director of the Office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas about the report. And the three-person band The Room Outside plays inside the Firmin-Garner Performance Studio. The University of Arkansas has just completed its first year of a new autism intervention education program. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, the curriculum is part of statewide initiative to assist children and families dealing with autism spectrum disorders.
