Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe expects the number of state employees that are furloughed to increase this week, while nest year's campaign for Arkansas' U.S. Senate seat heats up. And high schoolers around the state are now expect to pass a semester-long course in economics.

He’s alerting the world on how his Pacific island nation is starting to submerge due to rising seas caused by climate change. And as witness to a decade of cold-war atmospheric nuclear bomb tests on the Marshalls, Minister deBrum is also calling for global nuclear disarmament.
