A New state law went into effect this week prohibiting smoking on public college campuses. And as Jacqueline Froelich reports, the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville began enforcing the "Campus Clean Air Act."
Books can be a terrifying thing for the average college student. Not only because they'll have to memorize the immense amount of information inside the covers, but because they often come with a hefty price tag. Helping to make acquiring a book less expensive is a new rental program. Antoinette Grajeda reports.
Temple GrandinDr. Temple Grandin—world-famous animal welfare scientist and autism "self-advocate"—talks to Ozarks At Large's Jacqueline Froelich about her life, research and being the subject of a much-acclaimed HBO biopic. She made an appearance in Fayetteville July 27th to deliver a public talk at the Pauline Whitaker Equine Center. "Out on a Limb" by Lennie Tristano
For more than 127 years, Carroll County business has been conducted, as a convenience to citizens, in two courthouses, on either side of the Kings River. But after a county circuit court judge ordered to consolidate the district this year, the Arkansas Supreme Court decided to overturn it. Jacqueline Froelich reports.
Tomorrow, several schools from a three-state area will be showing off their robots on the campus of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.
