The Fayetteville Public Schools’ Bookmobile is making an impact, through books, on young members of the community in an effort to combat summer learning loss. Catch up with them Monday, July 21 and again July 28 at the following locations:
- 9:30- Red Oak Park (Carlsbad/Boxley/Bridgeport Subdivision area off Wedington)
- 10:15- The Links at Wedington (at the roundabout in the middle of the complex)
- 11:00- Woodway Apartments (by the complex pool)
- 11:45- Crofton Manor off Mt. Comfort (on Hatterly Street)
- 12:10- Washington Plaza Apartments (Under a grove of trees towards the back entrance of the complex)
The Beaver Lake Sailing Club, headquartered near Lost Bridge, is not only a historic recreational club, the membership is engaged in numerous charitable events. Ahead on this Thanksgiving edition of Ozarks: music, shopping and a holiday cocktail. We find out how local businesses work to attract shoppers in the midst of the Black Friday weekend. For music, we talk to Fort Smith native Josiah Hawley about his career after being a finalist on NBC's The Voice and his homecoming concert this weekend. Plus, Rosanne Cash discusses the work on her father's childhood home in Arkansas and get a preview of Aaron Diehl's upcoming concert at Walton Arts Center. The number of patient visits to the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center has increased from two thousand in 2000 to more than eleven thousand in 2011. Now the center is moving to a new, larger space.

Patients at the Booneville Human Development Center have an important job to do. They make rugs as part of the center's Rugs Project, which brought in more than $8,000 through craft fair sales just last month.
A new program is being introduced at Bentonville Public Schools. The program puts bicycles in each of the district's elementary, middle and junior high schools.
