The Fayetteville Public Schools’ Bookmobile is making an impact, through books, on young members of the community in an effort to combat summer learning loss. Catch up with them Monday, July 21 and again July 28 at the following locations:
- 9:30- Red Oak Park (Carlsbad/Boxley/Bridgeport Subdivision area off Wedington)
- 10:15- The Links at Wedington (at the roundabout in the middle of the complex)
- 11:00- Woodway Apartments (by the complex pool)

The Beaver Lake Sailing Club, headquartered near Lost Bridge, is not only a historic recreational club, the membership is engaged in numerous charitable events. There have been some bumps along the way, but the games of chance have provided hundreds of millions of dollars for scholarships. We'll talk to the lottery's second director, Bishop Woosley. Plus 40,000 students in elementary and middle schools across northwest Arkansas create art in a single day and the marvels involved with a staging of Carnival at the Alma Performing Arts Center. The show has steam punk costuming, puppets and music.
