The second edition of "Arkansas: a Narrative History" has been released by the University of Arkansas Press. The Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra opens the season October 17th with a program concentrating on Russian music. Later in the year the orchestra will include Ellington, cartoons and Mozart. We talked with the conductor, Steven Byess.
