But as Jacqueline Froelich discovered, two Northwest Arkansas detention centers have found a fix.The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services points to a handful of reasons as to why employment and unemployment numbers in the state keep improving. The Arkansas Supreme Court grants a stay on a Pulaski County Circuit Court ruling that allowed same-sex marriages to occur in the state last week, and Arkansas Tech's board of trustees approves tuition increases for the coming academic year.

Ahead on Ozarks, the U.S. Geological Survey is investigating an increase of tremors in Oklahoma, and Adam Posnak uses African-inspired religions' and cultures' images for his pottery. His latest exhibit opens this week in Fayetteville.

U.S. Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa from Hawaii has filed a bill asking for a massive increase in special grant funding to reimburse public spending on Marshallese migrants living in the U.S. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, millions of dollars have been distributed to Hawaii over the years, but not one cent of the grant money has every reached the mainland, including Arkansas, home to thousands of Marshallese.
A 4.2 mile long concrete barrier along I-540 just north of the Bobby Hopper Tunnel is experiencing extreme cracking. Researchers at the University of Arkansas are testing various treatments to see which can stop and prevent the cracking in an effort to save the wall.
