Ozarks at Large’s Iti Agnihotri-Mudholkar spoke with documentary filmmaker Ian Cheney regarding his documentary film “The City Dark.” The film deals with the issue of light pollution.
“The City Dark” will be screened next Monday at 5:30 p.m. inside Verizon Ballroom in the University of Arkansas Union. The screening is part of a new series launched by the U of A Honors College called “Honors College Invites” which hopes to bring scholars and experts to the region to benefit the community.

Author Gary B. Agee discusses his book “A Cry for Justice: Daniel Rudd and His Life in Black Catholicism, Journalism and Activism, 1854-1933” with Ozarks at Large’s Kyle Kellams. Daniel Rudd was born a slave in Kentucky, but as a young man he founded and edited one of the most successful African-American owned newspapers of his time.On this edition of Ozarks at Large, the Orchid Society of the Ozarks’ annual show returns to Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks; and Director of Concert Bands at the University of Arkansas W.
