Bucky Ball, a geometric, LED sculpture by artist Leo Villareal, is the first temporary outdoor installation for the museum. The work gets its name from Buckminster Fuller, an architect who designed geodesic domes. Ozarks at Large’s Christina Thomas spoke with Villareal about this and other works.

The three-day event this year encompasses a variety of locations and activities including golfing, running, trap-shooting and wrapping up with the more traditional gala. The Department of Homeland Security announced this morning that hundreds of thousands of undocumented young people, who meet certain criteria, will be provided relief from criminal deportation and allowed to work in the United States. We get reaction from a state immigrant civil rights leader.
More than 1,800 animals, about 36 percent of intakes, were euthanized at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter last year. A group of residents formed “No-Kill Fayetteville” to pressure city administrators to lower that rate.
