The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation recently awarded this rural advocacy organization a $175,000. Rural Community Alliance will use a portion of the funds for a community revitalization project in Southeast Arkansas. Earlier this month, six public open house workshops were organized by the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission and planning consultants Alta/Greenways to share information and invite suggestions regarding the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Regional Greenway.
The butterfly house complex, the first of its kind in our region, will stand on the west side of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.
