The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation recently awarded this rural advocacy organization a $175,000. Rural Community Alliance will use a portion of the funds for a community revitalization project in Southeast Arkansas. The Arkansas Legislature continues its first week of the 88th General Assembly in Little Rock today. Monday, the House and Senate convened to begin the session and yesterday Governor Mike Beebe delivered his inaugural address to a joint session of the Legislature. Ozarks at Large’s Kyle Kellams listened to the speech and has this follow-up.
