A partnership between various organizations in the community has resulted in a grant allowing for funds to connect schools with local food producers with the aim of serving their fruits and vegetables in school cafeterias and teaching kids about where there food comes from.

Ozarks at Large’s Antoinette Grajeda is representing KUAF at the 2011 NWA Gridiron Show. The comedy show is written, produced and performed by the members of the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and raises money for scholarships.
