Last summer, the Obama administration announced that undocumented youth who meet certain criteria, could apply for “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals”—entitling them to temporary employment authorization cards, government issued IDs, and driver’s licenses. Several thousand young people in Arkansas have been granted this special status, including Cindi Perez (pictured) who lives with her family in Fort Smith. The latest revenue numbers for Arkansas have been reported. A new effort by a veteran ballot initiative group pushes forward a new proposal to limit corporations' ability to contribute to political campaigns.
