To end our summer series on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in Arkansas we examine a little known aspect of the health reform law that will greatly expand opportunities for thousands of Arkansans requiring long term health care to receive help, not in an institution, but at home. The initiative is called "Community First Choice Option."

Ahead on this edition of Ozarks, Springdale claims the lead in job creation for Arkansas, plus a story of moving from small-town Arkansas to post-punk fame: this week’s edition of Arkansongs highlights the career of Beth Ditto…and in about six minutes, an update on the rollout of the Affordable Care Act in Arkansas now that the calendar has turned.
We do a site visit at a new outdoor adventure park located just west of Eureka Springs. The 30-acre canopy zipline course, which traverses a long twisting valley, contains numerous exit and entry platforms, some in trees. Construction is complete. Ozark Mountain Ziplines is expected to open in March.
