The Red Carpet Awards Season is upon us, but so is the Green Carpet Season--the 137th annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York City February 11th and 12th. And this year? Spike, an Ozarks-born and bred Russell Terrier from Frayed Knot Farm will face the pupparazzi. Jacqueline Froelich takes us to meet him.
Correction: Spike is a Grand Champion of the UKC--United Kennel Club, an all-breed registry based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Ahead on this edition of Ozarks, Senator John Boozman on the issues that Congress will face in the upcoming session in Washington. Plus, we continue our What's in a Name series with an exploration into the history of "Shiloh" in Springdale. Also, how simply being nice can earn points.
The literary club began in 1912 and remains intact, though the year is 2012. The club celebrated its anniversary by visiting the graves of the four founding members, all of whom are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Fayetteville.
The first concert of the season for the Arkansas Philharmonic is Saturday night. Cellist Stephen Gates says his favorite instrument is a featured component of the program.
The One Book, One Community series of events continues tonight with the author of the book, The Working Poor speaking on the Univeristy of Arkansas campus. Becca Martin Brown says that’s just one of the the possibilities for a night out tonight.
