This fall, the University of Arkansas will offer its first start-to-finish, online bachelor's degree program – a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

The future of hog farms in the Buffalo River Watershed may be uncertain with a recently proposed ban on confined animal breeding operations near the national river. An open forum tomorrow at the Jones Center in Springdale will address opportunities to keep students' minds active during out of school times. Many organizations will be involved, including the Arkansas Out of School Network.
Congressman Tom Cotton and Mark Pryor traded verbal blows late last week as each addressed the Delta Grassroots Caucus, which held its annual meeting in Little Rock. Enrollment in the state's Private Option continued to grow last month, as evidenced by a new report released by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and the University of Arkansas System moved forward with its future online university programs last week by hiring the school's first three employees.

Ahead on this edition of Ozarks, we say good night to iconic places and events in Fayetteville. Plus, we talk with researchers at the University of Arkansas who were sent around the world by PBS for a national show, Time Scanners.
Dave Baer made the drive from near Ponca to the Carver Center for Public Radio for his first visit to Ozarks at Large. He talks about writing songs and plays a couple as well.
Still no House vote on the Private Option, though a House committee forwarded a Senate bill to leave the Lt. Governor's office vacant until November, and Axciom made it's third and potentially final round of layoffs, expected to save the company between 20 and 30 million dollars.

More than 200 Arkansas public schools this winter received a piece of a $7 million dollar cream pie, under the Arkansas School Recognition and Reward Program. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, two of the schools are in Huntsville’s District.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (www.agfc.com) is looking at buying a 42-acre plot of land north of Jasper to expand operations.
The Butterfield Trail Elementary Archery Team came in first place in a recent regional tournament. We meet the 24 member team during an after school practice as they prepare to head to the state tournament.
