92-year-old Warren Blaylock, an on-and-off resident of the county, will talk about Bonnie and Clyde Sunday at the Drennen-Scott House. The notorious duo spent two weeks in Fort Smith when Blalylock was only 12.

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Arkansas campus announced a $1.5 million gift from Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation today. The gift will fund the construction of a clinical skills education center. The center’s scheduled to open by mid next year.

The Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission is commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in Arkansas. The Civil War Sesquicentennial will be celebrated between 2011 and 2015.
