There have been some bumps along the way, but the games of chance have provided hundreds of millions of dollars for scholarships. We'll talk to the lottery's second director, Bishop Woosley. Plus 40,000 students in elementary and middle schools across northwest Arkansas create art in a single day and the marvels involved with a staging of Carnival at the Alma Performing Arts Center. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Neil Compton. From his Bentonville home, he led the effort to keep the Buffalo River natural. The campaign eventually led to the river's designation as the nation's first national river. A new exhibit at the Peel Mansion and Compton Gardens is devoted to his life.
