For the first time in recent memory, six, count 'em, six candidates have filed for the position of Mayor of Eureka Springs -- population 2,300. The winner will replace current Mayor Dani Joy, who is not seeking re-election because she wishes to devote herself full time to her family's restaurant business. Yesterday, for two hours, students at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith registered other students to vote.
